Personal Bio
Sandra Toth is a wife, mother, and full-time high school English teacher for K12 (http://www.k12.com/), an online public and private school. She is currently teaching American Literature & Composition, World Literature, Public Speaking, and Journalism. She is also an evaluator for the Citrus County Florida Home School Education Program. In February 2010 Sandra worked as a Curriculum Advisor on the Common Core Curriculum Mapping Project http://commoncore.org/maps/index.php. Prior to her current employment, Sandra spent eighteen years successfully homeschooling her four daughters. She started and ran her own homeschool support group, which served over 100 Citrus County families. Before this, she taught high school English in Lancaster, Missouri. She holds a B.S. in English with a minor in education from the University of South Florida. CEP 818 is Sandra's fifth course towards her MAET degree. In her spare time she likes to read, cook, play with her new iPad, and spend time with her family.
